33. Mutton 'N' Thick Gravy




-Ingredients :-


*Mutton curry cut - 1kg
*Coriander leaves
*Onion - 5no (sliced)
*Tomato - 2no ( sliced)
*Capsicum - 1no ( fine chopped)
*Ginger n garlic paste - as req
*Pepper powder - as req
* Chilly powder - as req
* Salt - to taste
* Turmeric powder - a pinch
* Coriander powder - as req
* Cashew nut paste - 1/2 cup
* Cooking oil - as your wish
* Whipped cream - for garnish ( optional)


- Preparation :-

1. Take the mutton in a separate pan and add a pinch of turmeric powder. Then add salt and pepper powder for taste

2. Now add a bit of oil to it and slow cook it for 30 min

3. One the mutton is cook keep it aside and take another kadai

4. Now to this kadai add some oil and add the sliced onion followed by that add ginger garlic paste to it

5. Once the onion is brown and to well and the sliced tomatoes and finds chopped capsicum to the kadai

6. Now add chilly, Coriander and pepper powder for taste

7. Now saute` it well till it comes to a good consistency and also till the raw smell goes off

8. Once the mixture is ready keep it aside to cool in room temperature and once it get cooled blend it into a paste

9. Now take the same pan which u used before and add oil if it's required

10. Then once the oil is heated go on with the masala paste first. Followed by that add the cooked meat piece's into the pan

11. Now mix it all together in low flame and slow cook it

12. Now add 1/2 cup cashew nut paste into that and mix it with the masala and Mutton

13. Slow cook it for 15 to 20 mins in low flame

14. Now add very little amount of stock water into it and cook it together

15. Let it be in the flame till the stock water get vapourised and a good thick gravy forms along with the mutton

16. Now finish it with chopped Coriander leaves and a dash of cream as garnish


- Tips :-

1. You can cook the mutton in cooker also

2. Cream is optional

3. Coconut oil ( or ) sunflower oil is comparatively good

4. Serve it with Indian breads
