45. Tomahawk BBQ (Beef) 







Ingredients:- 

* Beef steak (Rib eye/Bone-in Rib eye/ Tomahawk Cut)  - 1 pc ( 750gms to 1kg apprx) 

* Garlic paste - 50gms 

* Raw papaya paste - 50gms

* Lemon juice - 10ml

* Salt - as required

* White & Black pepper powder - as required

* Dark soy sauce - 1 tbspn 

* Brown sugar - 50gm 

* Coffee extract - 2 tbspn 

* FC Rosemary - 1 genouros sprinkle

* Onion powder - as required

* Coal & Griller/ Oven - to cook

* Butter - 50gm

* Chopped Garlic - 10gm 

* parsley - 5gm

* Worcestershire sauce - 5tbspn

Preparation :- 


1. First rub the steak with raw papaya and Garlic paste. 

2. Then add salt as per your preference and mix it thoroughly on steak. Once done let it rest for 15 to 20 mins. 

3. Followed by that add the lemon juice, white and black pepper powder as per your preference. 

4. Now add the Onion powder, Dark soy sauce, Brown sugar and coffee extract to the steak and give it a gentle rub all over. 

5. Atlast add the Fine Chopped Rosemary leaves. 

6. Now let the steak rest for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 8 according to your convenience. 

7. After the resting time cook the steak for 45 mins or to an hour at 130°c to 140°c. 

8. In a bowl combine Butter, Garlic, Parsely, Rosemary, Salt, Pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well blended then brush it over the steak. 

9. Serve this steak with a cup of red wine and fresh green Salad of your preference. 


Tips:- 

1. Change the cooking time and temperature as per your preference of doneness of meat. 

2. Raw papaya will make the steak more tender and juicer. 

3. If you prefer a well done steak make sure the steak is on a optimum temperature for a longer time. 

4. Cook the steak on a live charcoal grill or use a microwave oven.
