 46. Creamy Butter Garlic Shell Fish In White Gravy 







Ingredients: - 

*Prawns - 500gms (with/without shell)

*Clams - 250gms 

*Crab - 300gms

*Garlic - 100gms (FC)

*Green chilli - 50gms (FC)

*Butter - 150 to 200gms 

*Fresh cream - as req

*Hung Curd - 100gms

*Oregano - 20gms (Optional)

*Chilli Flakes - 25gms (Optional)

*Spring onion - 50gms (FC)

*Lemon wheels - 6nos

*Onion - 500gms (FC)

*Salt - as req 

*Lemon juice - 2 whole 

*White pepper - as req 

*Black pepper - 50gms 


Preparation: - 

1. First clean and wash Prawns, Crab & Clams.

2. Devein the prawns without fail and use it with are without shells as per your preference.  

3. Clean Clams with hot water and use them with or without the shell.

4. If you are using the clams with shell then make sure that you are removing all the impurities from the cover of the shell. 

5. Now take all the shellfish in a bowl and add the lemon juice, Salt, and Black pepper then give it a gentle rub and keep it aside for 1 hour 

6. After 1 hour take a pan and add 100gms of butter. You can add more butter as per your preference if you wish & then followed by that add the Chopped Garlic, Onion & Green Chilli. 

7. Let it saute' for 5 mins and then add fresh cream as much as you required then add salt to taste.

8. Followed by that add the hung curd and seasoned shellfish to the same pan.

9. Now add white pepper & Salt to taste as per your palate preference. 

10. Let it simmer for 10 mins in med flame & Let all the mixture get infused together. 

11. Now add the chilli flakes & Oregano to 50 gms of warm butter and add pour it over the shell fish white gravy and allow it to cook for 5 more mins. 

12. Now check the seasoning and alternate as you like. At last add the chopped spring onion, Lemon wheels and serve hot.


Tips: - 

1. Deveining the prawns is a must in this recipe.

2. Cooking with shell is optional.

3. You can try it with other fishes if you are allergic to shell fish. 

4. Don't add any extra powder or spice.

5. This recipe goes well with breads.
