50. Classic Pizza Dough







Ingredients: -

All-purpose flour - 610gms

Instant dry yeast - 8gms

Lukewarm water - 365gm 

Salt - 18gms

Flour - As req for dusting 


Preperation:- 

1. Add the water and yeast to a large bowl and whisk until it gets mixed well.

2. Now combine the salt and flour in a separate bowl and mix well.

3. The next step is to mix the dry ingredient bowl with the wet ingredient bowl.

4. Now start mixing with your hand until the dough gets to form a combined ball shape.

5. After that take the dough out of the bowl and place it on a flat floured surface.

6. Now start kneading the dough with both hands for a minimum of 15 mins.

7. Knead it continuously until its soft and stretchy.

8. In the next step take the dough in a bowl and cover it with a dish towel or cling wrap.

9. Now allow the dough to rest for a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 3 hours.

10. Once it is double the size cut the dough into 4 equal measurements of  200 to 250 gms. 

11. Then perfectly make a ball shape and allow all 4 balls to rest for another 60 minutes by covering with a towel or cling wrap in the bowls. 

12. After 1 hour take the pizza dough give a "knock back" and start stretching your pizza dough and put your favourite toppings on it.



Tips:- 

1. This Pizza Dough will give you the perfect homemade pizza.

2. This recipe will give a yield of 4 Large pizzas.

3. According to your preference you can make 6 to 8 Medium size pizza also. 

4. Lukewarm water is a must. 

5. If you are using active dry yeast then add 7gms or If you are adding fresh yeast add 20gms.
